The Cretan tradition is kept alive, renewed, and nourished here thanks to the wonderful locals who are engaged with the cultural heritage of their birthplace with particular sensitivity and respect. In Amari, you will find traditional workshops, where artisans using traditional methods and drawing inspiration from today, create small miracles. If you like folklore, you can visit the interesting collections of the Folklore Museum of Vistagi and the Primary School of Amari, as well as the Old Olive Mill of Apostoloi, inside which its old equipment with manual machines is preserved. Moreover, for those of you who love the musical tradition of Crete, the Music School is organized every August in Meronas village to introduce you to its secrets.<\/p>\n
